My Story

Looking back at 2018, the year feels like a blur. Between being a mom (my son was just 8) and the relentless grind of work, I vanished. The anxiety disorder diagnosis explained so much, but the undiagnosed ADHD/OCD added another layer of struggle. The pressure built, a relentless squeeze tightening around my chest. My daily experience was dull, void of color, humor, and pleasure..

Thanks to a moment of divine intervention from the Universe, I had a moment that pierced the heavy fog of suicidal ideation I was trapped in. I could see clearly long enough to get help.

Reiki allowed me to pause long enough to hear and appreciate my truest Self. Energy work provided somatic emotional release while delving into my sexuality unearthed hidden desires. Having come so close to death, I vowed to live a life of delight. I also wanted to create space for death in a new and different way. It wasn't easy or linear, but as I shed each layer of expectation, a truer, more authentic me emerged, confident and whole.

With newfound courage, I expressed my needs and desires. "No" became a powerful tool, boundaries came easily, and soul-nourishing activities became my priority. I built the foundation for a vibrant life, with days that start with delight and not dread.

Now that I am on the other side of those dull, dark times, I am committed to holding space and guiding others to avoid a similar path. My story is relatable, and seeking help is a strength. Now, I create open spaces for honest conversations as you reach for your own unexpressed desires.

I was raised in a Power-Over-Others culture. I want power with and for others.
